Why have a live band? You want your guests to have an enjoyable time and to remember your special day / event. A live band provides a great atmosphere in a way that recorded music cannot. We love what we do and this shows in our performances and it is our job to get your guests up to have fun and dance the night away - a role we take very seriously!
How much will it cost? As the cost is based on a number of factors, such as location, time of year, set up and finish times and the length of set required we tailor quotes for each event. Please use the contact page to let us know the details of your event and we will reply with a quote.
What do the band require? We require 2 double sockets minimum & a stage area of at least 5m x 3m for our basic set up which most wedding / function venues will be more than adequate for. We also need somewhere to get changed and somewhere safe to store our equipment.
Can I see the band live before we book? We do public as well as private performances and would encourage prospective clients to come and see us. This helps you to feel confident that our show is right for your event and gives us a chance to show off! If you join our mailing list then you will automatically be sent details of all Soul Disciples' upcoming public performances.
Do you provide music between your live sets? Yes, we will play an appropriate mix of songs through our PA system in between sets. If there are some songs that you particularly want to be played then you can provide us with a copy of the tracks on CD or mp3 before the event and we will incorporate them. Alternatively, if you want a DJ for between sets we can help you source one.
How long are the live sets? We are able to tailor our performance times for your event. Our regular set choices are 2 x 45mins or 2 x 60mins but if you have special requirements please let us know and we will accommodate as best we can.
